The journey of the Beast
The club is born
On 5 July, Cáceres gains a club to call its own: Cacerense Esporte Clube.
First trophy
Governor's Cup champions against Vila Aurora — earning a first-ever place in the national Série C.
State champions
On 27 May, a 2–0 win over Grêmio Jaciara in front of 9,500 fans at the Geraldão. The champions' roar echoed through the night in Cáceres.
Brazilian Série C
The Beast represents Cáceres and Mato Grosso in the national third division.
Back to the top flight
Runners-up in the state second division, earning promotion for 2023.

A central cross over sky blue, two footballs, the initials E.C. and the founding date: 05/07/2005.
Two stars
One for each major title: the 2006 Governor's Cup and the 2007 state championship.
Nickname
“The Beast of the Border”: Cáceres sits on the Brazil–Bolivia border, on the Paraguay River, gateway to the Pantanal.
Where we play
Geraldão Stadium
The Luiz Geraldo da Silva Municipal Stadium — the Geraldão — has an official capacity of 6,500; 5,000 came to the club's last match of the state championship. The ground is public, run by the Cáceres city council, and Cacerense plays there through a partnership with the municipality, as the city's club.
